Call on 2-26-06

On February 26th, 2006, East Gaston E-300, E-303, S-309, Community E-323 and Mt Holly E-34 were dispatched to a reported house fire.  E-303 arrived with a single story residence with fire showing.  E-34 arrived and laid a supply line to E-303.  S-309, E-300 and E-323 arrived and provided manpower.  The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes by two 1 3/4" lines.  The Gaston Co. Fire Marshall's Office responded and determined the fire to be electrical in nature.  Crews were on-scene for about 2 hours.
